Metzorah – “Leper”

Pastor Jim Staley teaches on this week’s Torah Portion “Metzorah” which means “Leper”, examining in detail the 14th chapter of the book of Leviticus, which teaches us so much wisdom. But almost every Christian in the world is likely to miss this chapter because it seems to be strange. And they will not be able to accept the power of the gospel contained in the description of those two pigeons. When you read the Bible, think about the context of what you are reading. Find connections. Look for the Messiah everywhere. Look for the missing parts. His fingerprints are visible throughout Scripture. So, you will learn about the Torah’s instructions on how to deal with gossip, how to treat evil speech, what to do when someone is expelled from the church, how to restore them back in the congregation, how this whole process goes, how to show such people love, what to believe, and what not to believe.
